Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2019 Edition)

Rode 2+ hours to the cottage yesterday with an extra layer under the jacket and "First Gear" heated gloves I got from FortNine a couple of years back. They work incredibly well under 10C, especially on the highways.

    I Saw You: V.2.0

From the GO Train I saw a black and white V-Strom heading south on the Bayview Extension -- kudos to you for still riding! That red Porsche tailgating you made me nervous though and hope he eventually backed off.

Saw a nice group of a dozen or so Harley riders at the Petro Canada beside the Timmies in Havleock today. (I was warming up with a coffee in the Timmies lot on my sport bike.) You guys looked great heading out to the awesome Hwy. 46 -- hope you had good ride and managed to stay warm.

York Region Police "Out of Service" Flag

Saw a first today when a York Region Police unit drove by with a flag labelled "Out of Service" poking up out of the rear passenger window of their cruiser. Is this an off-duty thing or are they on a special assignment of some sort that keeps them from responding to regular calls? Just curious.

How do you mount your GoPro

I did the same thing and picked up an Activeon camera over the winter. It's compatible with GoPro mounts, so I ordered a GoPro suction mount. Seems to be the most versatile mount for motorsports to easily attach an action camera to gas tanks, fairings and bike tails, which I'll start with in...
