Rode 2+ hours to the cottage yesterday with an extra layer under the jacket and "First Gear" heated gloves I got from FortNine a couple of years back. They work incredibly well under 10C, especially on the highways.

From the GO Train I saw a black and white V-Strom heading south on the Bayview Extension -- kudos to you for still riding! That red Porsche tailgating you made me nervous though and hope he eventually backed off.
Saw a nice group of a dozen or so Harley riders at the Petro Canada beside the Timmies in Havleock today. (I was warming up with a coffee in the Timmies lot on my sport bike.) You guys looked great heading out to the awesome Hwy. 46 -- hope you had good ride and managed to stay warm.

Roughly the same piece of Hwy. 7 from the Aug-19-2017 incident involving a group of riders struck by a pickup truck crossing the centre line.
Saw a first today when a York Region Police unit drove by with a flag labelled "Out of Service" poking up out of the rear passenger window of their cruiser. Is this an off-duty thing or are they on a special assignment of some sort that keeps them from responding to regular calls? Just curious.

A couple of times now around 7PM I see 4 - 6 sport bike riders heading east on Highway 7 between Hunter's Point Drive and Yonge St. Is that a group ride?
