God that was awful. Various loudness of terrible. Hyundai N seemed to get the in car pretend audio the best.

Bank doesn't care much. They probably charge $25 to make the withdrawal and they're ****** they lose their future graft.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Suppliers being legally obligated to provide parts to manufacturers if requested is miles away from consumers being able to access parts by law. The manufacturer could decide to mothball the project, therefore they never request the component supplier to produce parts and the product in the wild...

    COVID and the housing market

If dad pulled from rrsp, the family is already screwed as they act without knowledge. It's hard to give up more to cra than an rrsp pull while employed. There are far more tax efficient ways of accessing money. In your example, tax bill would be 150k max but that still a big issue if you have...

California is giving Tesla 60 days to rename Autopilot or face a stop sale. That is good imo. Some of the comments are good. I suspect the commentors are right and Tesla will go with something like OttoPilot or Not Autopilot to piss in their cornflakes. There should be major consequences for...

Sort of. Some Hyundai/Kia and some Fords are like Hyosung and basically garbage out of warranty. They have terminal engine or transmission issues that require replacement every few years. Even if parts are available from manufacturer, price precludes using them. Not many buybacks as they string...

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

If they had half a brain between them, they would not even include source of power in any laws. "This law applies to all motorized transport that is not confined to rails." No need to define 100 categories. Something like "everything that moves under it's own power and exceeds 8km/h" seems like...

The source of power should have no impact on the requirement for licensing and insurance. It should be based on factors like weight and speed.

This sucks. His daughter was from his ex-wife. Ex-wife wasn't on the plane. Really strange flight path (highly variable speed and elevation and very tight turn to final). It was a professional pilot not a biffle at the controls.

That's fair but keep your pie hole shut for a bit. Mourn privately. Allow friends/relatives to get a phone call instead of finding out from a viral post. Hell, start making the calls to those you know to let them get emotionally ahead of the story. Many of the aviation youtubers have a policy...

Tragic. Cleetus McFarland (Garrett Mitchell) broke the news really quickly after the crash. Not cool imo.

I practiced that quite a few times in my younger years. I could barely walk and never crashed. One time I did have a lot of cedar boughs caught in the brake levers. No idea how that happened. There was no cedar between my starting point and destination. I've never ridden an ebike. You can get a...

I can't see a path forward for Livewire. They are a dumpster fire from every angle. I don't see a path to desirability or profitability (other than some government green boondoggle but Trump isn't interested in that crap and Brookfield doesn't own HD so neither is Carney).

    COVID and the housing market

How many condos are using proximity keys now? I know many are still physical keys but if a building is using prox keys and there are 100 hanging there, it's not hard to get access to most of the building.
