Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Cops aren't too concerned about stats like that. They don't even track some really important things. I suspect that if it was tracked, every non-factory plate location/angle would end up in the altered plate category. Since that is 90% of bikes on the road, the police would say that 90% of the...

You missed galling. Shouldn't be the case here but if you ever end up in that situation, it's a miracle if you can save one part. Often both end up in the garbage.

Also known as assault if a DA had the stones to bring blue in line (and by that I mean treat them as a normal citizen when they are clearly acting outside of their authority). They'd have to be on their way to a new job though as they'd never get a conviction again as team corruption tanked all...

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

$268 with the battery is not awful. I get annoyed using the >15 lb chainsaw for brush and while a pruning blade on a recip saw works ok for attached wood, cutting loose pieces down with it sucks.

I haven't seen his situation but I often find myself using paper or tinfoil to make disposable chutes/deflectors/funnels when manufacturers made life difficult for me.

Dry sump or just chaos? If you had a klr, you could just turn it over to get the oil out.

They are great. I am not convinced about much of the pricing. There is some copper in them but they are pretty simple. Many hover around $300+ which seems steep. Most are 100-200 if you buy from China. Still seems steep but probably the cheapest path for most people to cherry red (shaman should...

    Anyone into gardening here?

Can't entirely tell. Looks like crab grass. It's hell. Pull it all. Spray with vinegar and soap if you don't want to bend over. It makes tons of seeds and spreads fast. You can get selective chemicals from the states to control it but they are banned in Ontario unless you are a golf course or...

    Dealers and Trust

At the time I was under warranty. Yes, you can get work done while under warranty elsewhere but goodwill warranty is real and can be very valuable if needed. The less bones you threw the dealer, the closer your warranty coverage is to letter of the law. Once warranty is over, it is very rare my...

Fwiw, I had a dilawri dealership tell me the same thing. I replaced the brakes 18 months later and they were still well over 3mm. Lying thieves.

Those running around screaming and taking video need a punch in the head. Maybe images of morons trying to profit from tragedy should be spread like the brantford boomer to get the societal backlash they deserve. Huge respect to those that did what they could to help.

I think he had gp bikes do a previous service and he thinks they screwed up the install (hopefully too tight and not cross threaded).

Interesting. If you can get vise grips on that od (without mangling the case), even better.
