What would trip the main house breaker?

Is it one of the crap panels like stab-lok (probably too new for zinsco) or a brand that still exists?

Post up your liquor/spirit talk ?

When I got married, I bought my my best man a bottle of crown royal xr. It is still the most expensive bottle I have ever bought (a bit over $200 iirc).I am up at his cottage this weekend and we were going to open it. Thankfully (or not), we checked value before opening it. As it's a red label...

What would trip the main house breaker?

Swiss cheese model. When life safety is involved, put many obstacles in the path to ensure people don't get hurt. Aside from hurting people upstream, if you try to feed your house from two different out of phase sources (grid and generator), there is a giant impulse of power that needs to go...

What would trip the main house breaker?

While theoretically possible, it's mostly a myth. If you backfed into a dark grid, your generator would instantly trip as you are trying to power up every house on your transformer and potentially more upstream. When cres are working on the lines, they ground the lines to protect themselves...

Anyone caught out in this storm?

Fix how? Some are underpasses, some parts of dvp and train tracks end up in the river when flow is high enough. Environmental regulations block most solutions. Cost blocks the rest. Cheaper to close sections for a couple days a year.

Do you have a vintage motorcycle needing exercise?

I would cut back on the decimals a lot as it adds clutter without adding information. What are you using for odometer and what it it's resolution? If odometer only has one number after the decimal, I'd make your sheet only show one number after the decimal (or maybe two to avoid thinking about...

    Stocks

Keep in mind that many banks have multiple different brokerage divisions. Normally they have full-featured division where you can talk to someone at your local branch (whose job it is to maximize bank profit), a discount division where you make your own choices (with a phone number or online...

How would a 50% tariff work on a new H-D?...fun with numbers...

Maybe. We're also approaching off-season so I suspect if sellers try that, the market will freeze as buyers hope things will be more favorable in the spring. The more interesting thing for me will be new bikes. I expect dealers will mark existing stock up to include tariff and then discount to...
