Lots of places sell them in Canada. You can buy them off the shelf at Future Shop in provinces where they are legal, so they arent difficult to get up here. At least some of the Beltronics are made in Canada.

I prefer having the home button too, but my Note doesn't have it. You can still tell which way is up by the buttons on the side though.

Um,this guys a ZR7 owner calling R1's and R6's girly? lol Then says a digital speedo with a blue light is good though. Try actually looking at the speedo of an R1...its blue, can be adjusted for brightness, and is easy to read under any light condition unless you legally blind.

You pretty much have to order direct. I have a set of carbon fiber cans on my R1, and I will say this. They are HORRIBLE at getting back to you. I want the updated end caps, and not one of my emails, phone calls, you name it has resulted in actually getting a hold of someone.

I havent seen anyone locally, but its a cheap buy with shipping from either ebay, motomummy, or kurveygirl.com (she's also the ebay seller. Get some ate super blue to show it off and youre all set.

As far as insurance not covering you because you you shouldn't have been out after dark, its possible that if the cop didnt ticket you for that, it might not be in the report? Maybe they wont really ever even get the heads up. Im not sure what all would go into that report, but people upgrade...

From talking with some riders I know in the area, he was a known jackass, and it could have been any number of people who called and told them where he was at so they don't take the heat all summer.

Its an 04-06 R1. The 07-08's have small differences, including the silver ring inside the tach. The 09 and newer R1s have a different cluster.

I think I'm just gonna go do that. I just hope they aren't looking at some sort of different info.
