Thanks for the tips, my mechanic torqued my wheel to 55 even though the manual states 34

Quick question Could over-tightening the rear axle nut (the one used to allow the wheel to be adjusted) caused the rotor to rub the outside brake pad more? I.e the tighter that nut is means it bites more threads which would affect the spacing? Or is this incorrect ?

Complete engine swap, I sent a pretty nasty email to Hyosung so they covered the labour ad I just got a used engine off of ebay, they took the best parts from both engines and it's running like a champ.

It has since been fixed, the new angle is much better. But thanks for the feedback. I normally wear gloves but I was dying in that +40 heat so I just couldn't do it.

Haha, very funny. They only stop working when you change their oil, no big deal.

My Hyosung gets about 480km before it is on it's last bar.

The Broken engine does not run at all, it tries to crank but nothing more, I will do as you suggested and just keep it as a whole unit, butchered it as needed.

Sorry to revive a dead thread, just wanted to mention, the engine issue I had was my own vault. I put the oil filter in backwards and the bike is back on the road.

I starved my Hyosung Engine for oil by putting the oil filter in the wrong way :( I was just wondering what I could use/take from the engine that would not have been affected by this. Ie will the clutch basket be okay? my friend and I are going to be ripping the old engine apart next weekend and...
