Test rides on A couple of GS's

Just back from a spin on my R9T. It is the more "raw" 2018 version with John Sharrad tuned Ohlins front and rear suspension. For me, this bike is a "keeper"!

    AGV helmet recall

The recall involves the AGV Tourmodular Helmet, a full-faced motorcycle helmet equipped with a chin bar that has the ability to “flip-up.” The chin guard plate may break over time, allowing the helmet to not be properly secured on the user’s head during an accident. For more information...

Red light camera ticket for turning right

I requested disclosure from the RLC dept and not the Prosecuter (the thought being that the Prosecutor gets his info from the RLC ppl, so why not go to the source). I had to leverage the FOI clause to obtain this. (check on the 'net, 'cos each area has it's own separate set up) Prolly the reason...

End of story and the "three second" rule forever!

Red light camera ticket for turning right

That answer pretty much summed up the reason why it would be a "no contest" if I took the option of telling the judge, "look at the brake lights, the driver had stopped prior to making the right turn on red"

Red light camera ticket for turning right

Here is the answer I got when requesting for disclosure: Peel AE confirms that our RLC system was actively monitoring the intersection with ideal performance. The RLC system is configured to capture vehicles that proceed into the intersection against a red light, meaning although the vehicle’s...

Red light camera ticket for turning right

Past experience tells me to never go into a negotiation without something in your back pocket. I had none, except a "he said", a right turn on red. So I gave Ceaser his coin. Now I have fitted and tested a dash cam that will be insurance against Popo's automated crap. Which begs the question -...

Red light camera ticket for turning right

Thanks for sharing your experience. Guess the "pay up" option is preferrable to dealing with the hassle.

Red light camera ticket for turning right

Apparently in Peel, one can request RLC images via email. I have put in a request for photos that actually show the car crossing the white line and a speed reading as proof that the car never stopped. Meanwhile, (as justride has also suggested) I will request an early meeting with Mr...

Red light camera ticket for turning right

There is no speed measurement quoted, just this "the redlight was on for 0.8 seconds. The vehicle proceeded through the intersection when the light had been red for 2.2 seconds" Since there is no pic of the vehicle actually past the cross walk or in the intersection, why wouldn't the Traffic...

Red light camera ticket for turning right

re: brake lights on doesn't mean stopped. The static snapshot of the vehicle with the brake lights on and not in the intersection is one of the two photos provided (the other is of the vehicle approaching the intersection). Brake lights on, in a static pic can equate to "vehicle stopped". Would...

Red light camera ticket for turning right

Adding to the saga ........... I was also the recipient of the similar "surprise" in the mail, a red light camera ticket! "Surprise" because it wasn't me that was driving the vehicle - however it is registered in my name, so I have to deal with it. The wording: The photographs show the vehicle...
