I was having some problems with rights at reds for a bit. Then I spent a couple hours in a parking lot doing left, and right turns after watching this video

First bike, Shadow Aero 750. After a couple hours it made me get the feel for turning, clutch...
Hey, I've been riding for a couple of weeks now and just had a question on parking.
In front of my office building is a paved area where people usually go out, have a smoke and such at. Plenty of room. In front of that area is the public sidewalk.
I was just wondering if I could park my bike on...
Figured I'd just give a quick little snippet of how quickly I got into riding and the luck I've encountered.
May 6th - Got M1, starting calling around for M2 training schools.
May 8th - Get call saying a spot is available for Learning Curves in Hamilton. (Perfect! I'm 10 minutes away!)
May...
The price was pretty great. Listed at 2800 and I was able to talk him down a couple. Has some cosmetic damage that'll cost a couple hundred to repair, and some minor things that need to be cleaned up from having not been ridden much in the past year or two.
Yeah, it wasn't exactly the smartest decision. I knew that cruisers were typically cheaper and I'm prepared to bite the bullet for the next couple of years on insurance anyways.
I'll have some pics soon. Have to arrange picking it up.
Just bought a 2004 Shadow Aero 750 today...
Super excited. Just picked up an 04' Honda Shadow Aero 750cc. Runs great. Now I have to wait to transport it, get it certed and a couple touch ups then I'm good to go!
Thanks for the welcomes. I just finished doing a weekend training course for my M2 and passed it. LearningCurves has some great instructors. Went from never having sat on a bike to being able to effectively shift gear without stalling the bike. (Most of the time! but that's my own impatience)
Going to be purchasing a used bike soon after I finish my MTO Gearing Up course and was just looking for some numbers to call.
My car is currently insured under RBC if that changes anything.
Was also wondering if a newer bikes (2003+) typically tend to be cheaper as that would guide my bike...
Just got my M1 license today, and will be booking a MTO driving course soon.
Really excited, but still looking for a bike within my price range and what I'd like it to be.
I've picked up some shoes, and a jacket and am planning a trip out to Royal Distributing to try on some helmets and gloves...
