Duluth is a nice city! Lots of nice places along Lake Superior and and Michigan, after Mackinaw City going west you will have awesome beaches and water right next to the highway, stop and take a swim! Mackinaw has a great bridge as mentioned above. Enjoy :)

You don't need M. I would def go north, to Tobermory and take the ferry to Manotoulin Island, then sault st Marie to mackinaw city. Or go through Sarnia and head North to mackinaw. Watch for deer and don't ride at night.

We don't need to lengthen it, we need to widen it. So I don't need a permit if I'm just adding a little bit to the edge to widen it? Like some blocks or minor interlock?
