    George Chuvalo RIP

The fix was in on his Olympic fight, I can’t believe the judges had just watched the same fight that I had. You can see the look of shock on his opponents face when he is declared the winner. Being robbed of that gold medal must have weighed on him for the rest of his life.

What is the make, year and model? The suspense is killing me.

    Bridgestone s22 - 4 year old tires

If you’re just riding on the road I would just let it go and move on. They will be more than adequate for any kind of riding you will be doing on the street. If your doing track days that’s a different story(I believe those are sport tires) , I would just go back to who installed them and see if...

Registering out of province bike with no ownership

I have a ‘77 Yamaha RD400 without an ownership that was given to me that I plan on restoring one day. The information I got from a friend who jumped through the hoops in the same situation is as follows. First, you have to contact the police, I think he said the RCMP, probably because they are...

    Replacing a 2008 ST1300

I think that’s what the Kawasaki 900RS goes for. The nice thing about the Kawasaki is that you can get the SE model that comes with the Ohlin shocks and Brembo brakes. I’ve heard many times once you’ve ridden a bike with Ohlins it’s hard to go back to the OEM suspension, especially if your doing...

    George Chuvalo RIP

Boxing is a very unforgiving sport, much like motorcycle racing. I remember seeing Miguel Duhamel walking through the pits late in his career at Mid-Ohio, both his legs were held together with plates and screws, I was in pain just looking at him. Lang Hindle still walks with a limp from his...

    Replacing a 2008 ST1300

The retro Honda CB1000F is getting really good reviews in the UK and US.I think it may be available in Canada next year. My only complaint is the digital gauges, just doesn’t look right. It would look way better with analogue gauges like the Kawasaki 900RS...

    Replacing a 2008 ST1300

Never heard of that bike. Just checked it out on Suzuki’s web site, seems like a nicely updated SV650. A little more electronics than I would like but I don’t think there’s any getting away from that.

    George Chuvalo RIP

I’m sure George contributed to some of Muhammad Ali’s neurological problems later in life, He was a formidable opponent to Ali.

    George Chuvalo RIP

We lost one of Canada’s greatest athletes yesterday. His claim to fame was going 15 rounds with Muhammad Ali and then 12 rounds a few years later losing by decision both times, no easy feat. I can believe it,saw him at a restaurant about 25 years ago, he was one thick, solid looking guy.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

He’s going to climb it and drop it down in pieces, get rid of the wood and grind the stump. We had an option to use a crane to drop it down in larger pieces to sell the wood, apparently Butternut is very desirable but there seems to be a surplus due to recent storms.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

I’ve got a massive Butternut tree behind my house that needs to come down, 4’ in diameter at the base. They’re protected but turns out this one is a “hybrid” so apparently it can come down without any red tape. We’ve been getting prices in the $10,000 range.

    Replacing a 2008 ST1300

I also had a 2007 st1300 that I fell out of love with, rode the Kawasaki and really liked it. Reminded me of the bikes I first rode in my youth in the late seventies/early eighties but waaaay faster. It’s everything the ST1300 isn’t in a good way.
