Any insight on electric scooters for adults?

It's completely ridiculous letting bicycles go 32kmh. Lets limit them to 20. Gotta run, UPS just dropped off the turbo kit for my busa

Any insight on electric scooters for adults?

Been riding my Segway Max for 2 years. Range is about 50km, top speed is locked at 30kmh. Overbuilt , durable and reliable. It is no more dangerous than my ebike. I use it to commute to work 13 km each way. The biggest danger of all these E-vehicles is the person riding them. If you ride with...

Wasn't a great day for a ride yesterday

yeah visibility was actually the worst part. main shield down for a few blocks, it fogged up, then lifted it and used sunvisor for a few blocks, then lifted and relied on glasses. stopped at next lights, wiped all 3 with my wet kleenex, then repeated. good thing i only had 15km to cover

    Maxi scoots

I would include a Vespa 300 or Piaggio 400 in you search. They have a long history making scooters

    Honda Navi

https://canadamotoguide.com/2021/11/17/honda-brings-the-navi-minimoto-to-canada/ As something for booting around the neighbourhood, grabbing a few groceries or commuting to work in the city, this has caught my eye. is cheaper than many ebikes on the market, has a real engine and is not a scooter

Injuries using e-scooters, e-bikes and hoverboards jump 70% during the past four years

My friend did have insurance at the time of the accident. The company cancelled it 3 days later and said they would not cover his collision.

Injuries using e-scooters, e-bikes and hoverboards jump 70% during the past four years

I agree its heavy handed and not practical as Killvino said. But as an example look at how the stunting/50kmh laws have changed since introduced. Insurance companies have no problems changing things. A "buddy" of mine had an at fault accident two weeks ago. Both cars were driveable, and the...

Injuries using e-scooters, e-bikes and hoverboards jump 70% during the past four years

Bicycle helmet wearing is not mandatory over the age of 18. Protective motorcycle gear (other than helmet) is not required at all. Lets change OHIP rules, if you have an accident you have no coverage if you aren't wearing either.

    Calling All Naked Bikes/Hookup

Another vote for Woodbine and 16. Weston road locations are not central to riders in the east end.

    Use of GPS devices “discouraged”?

I grew up on that road ( actually in a house ) from the ages of 6 to 19. I believe the GPS warning has more to do the blind corners, road surfaces changing from pavement to gravel and back again without warning. My father still lives there and I visit regularly . And please, spell the name right...

    New klr 650

what is real road riding? I've had 2 klrs and 4 dr650s . Properly kitted the dr beats the klr in every way. And a properly kitted dr is the same price as a base klr. for its intended purpose, i would take the versys X over the klr. and a cb500x before the klr
