I just got the main part of my costume in the mail last night along with a couple pairs of crazy looking contact lenses. Still unsure of what i am going to wear with it. Ideas are more than welcome.
You shouldn't need them for a safety, i might be wrong "by the rule book" but my vfr was done a the local Honda powerhouse just the way you see it (no passenger pegs or grips)
Without seeing the bike and knowing a few more details like kms and quality of said paint job, Ill go out on a limb and say $1000-1400 today and just maybe as high as $1800 in the spring.
Was just up for a big run on Saturday, wait another 2 weeks or you will be disappointed, as there is very little change as of now. Waaaay less crowded though! This time last year was in full color, but this year seems a bit late
Make yourself a "home base" in and around the Bancroft area and hit up what the area has to offer.
I promise, it will keep you happy for a few long days! I still manage to find great roads i have never been on, and been riding the area for many years :)
Nothing like scraping pegs and getting muddy in the same day! I love these bikes for all they are and the price cant be beat for the fun they provide!
Toss a rider like BrianP on one of these and and it was even hard for me to keep up in sections of Bogie with my 750 Kat.
I did 33km of the Bon...
I've been caught doing that a few times this summer waiting for my wife on her bike ahead of me to "think" she can make a safe turn onto another street LOL.
I get more than a few weird looks, as i live in a small farm town (3000 people) but oh well.
