no they didn't, they did what they do every year: 1. play half-assed crappy hockey until you have 15 games left 2. play really well just to squeak into the playoffs 3. lose in the playoffs only this time, they didn't pull #2 off. good thing i gave up on the "sport" just as they got locked out.

drano is weak (much like ukraine :D) try the snake, you'll probably have better luck with it. if the carrots aren't holding back the water flow completely and you didn't flush the drano down (with the water valve off) then all you probably succeeded in doing was cleaning your toilet bowl...
