I wouldn't call it a lump. It's still capable if 0-60 in 6 seconds, 288 hp, and a top speed of 150mph. Not bad for a 25 year old car. And putting a gm motor in a Porsche (as another poster suggested) is almost as bad as putting a v8 in an rx-7.
The only achilles heal is the frequent timing belt...
All on kijiji, don't PM here as I no longer ride and will not be checking GTAM.

84 has the older 4.7. AC is expensive, blower motors are 600 from Porsche, but some guys on Templar just developed one that is 160. I paid 5k, a pretty good deal.
Most expensive things to repair are electrical and interior.
Well my VFR turned into a stack of money, and that stack turned into this.

So I'm off two wheels for now, will come back some day.
Can't wait to start taking it apart!
Adios for now.

Everyone has completely forgotten that this is an open forum, it is a personal choice to read a thread or not. I'm not taking any sides, just saying that everyone has opinions and the forum needs to respect that. No one has the right to say what someone else can say as long as they feel it is...
+1 everyone has reasons for their choices, that's no reason to bash someone for quitting. **** I have been thinking about the same. Two young kids that depend on their father will do that to you. :)
