Overnight trip from Ottawa ~2k km

Thinking about taking 1 last tour overnight next weekend. Put a couple more thousand on my 82 CB900c. Can anyone recommend a good 2 day trip (will camp overnight)? Would rather keep it in CAN but US is ok too. Around 1000 km / day is fine. Thanks, NICE scenery is the goal.

It's all up in the air right now. Will be as long as I need it to be as I can take as many holidays as I need (2-4 weeks). I don't need to spend much time in one particular spot, I just want to see lots and ride some awesome roads.

Bike for wife - Under $2500

**I did see the thread about the gentleman asking about a bike for his SHORT wife - I didn't feel that it quite fit what I was looking for. My wife is 5'10" and VERY limited bike experience. I taught her to drive my old 87 Suzuki GS450 but only down some back roads and in 1st and 2nd. She...

Yeah same here, I don't think funds will allow me to do my James Bay trip this year but I am going to rebuild my head over winter and replace the accelerator pump and then my bike will be trustworthy enough to do one of these trips next year. I will probably do it a bit later, maybe start of...

You know you're on a long trip when A. valve clearances are adjusted after a week of driving and B. tires need to be replaced mid way through the trip! Although, I guess if they were loose before trip, it would warrant some adjustment now. I think I speak for everyone when I say we need...

    Cross Country roadtrips

I am out of school and have a fairly flexible schedule at work such that I can take a week or two here or there no problem. I am just starting to have the money to take trips like this. This year James Bay, next year something similar to WheeliBoy and the following year will be Prudhoe Bay...

What I am interested in knowing is if you remember or can keep track of the longest stretch of road with no gas stations is? What sort of range do you get on the CBR? I am wondering if there are any long stretches of service free roads on your trip?

Awesome switchbacks Did you end bringing your laptop? Once you are back would it be too much trouble to plot your trip on a Google Map or somehow can we see the entire trip plotted by SPOT? I can only see last 50 updates at a time. As I have a trip planned for this summer I think I may do...

    Trip partner (s)

I want to get out on a few trips this summer however, being 23 and full of P&V :) I prefer to do it on the cheap, camping, quick cheap meals, etc. What are your plans for accommodations? Camp or motel? How long of days do you plan?

Honda CB750 Restoration (Not sure of the year, I think '79 or '80)

Nice project... if you have any questions I will do my best to help. I have an 81 CB900c my dad bought new back in the day and handed down to me (daily bike) and a 83 CB1000c I bought last year for a project. See my new thread here...
