    Anyone into bee keeping?

I knew someone that did it for a few years as part of their hobby farm. They actully were able to produce some honey to sell. It was really good. But i recall he had alot issues with keeping the numbers of bees alive. The farmers in the area kept using insecticides that also started to kill the...

MV Agusta now a KTM sibling

For MV Augusta, I hope rhe relationaship is similar to Ducati and their parent co. VW -AUDI AG. This worked out well for them. It brought it some structure, quality control and financing from the Germans. While they left Ducati to continue to produce and create amazing looking bikes. In other...

    Electric Lawn Mower?

I made the switch to battery powered mower last year. Was fed up with trying to start an older gas mower. Constantly forgetting to get gas , weight of mower etc. I was reluctant on getting a battery pwered mower. Did some research. Ended up getting the Greenworks Pro 60v. It was on sale at...

    Generators

Interesting solution GreyGhost. I was was one of the unfortunates that had power turned back on last. At least 10 days out without power. I stayed as long as I could using a woodburning stove that only warmed a small area. After 2 days I gave up and went to a relatives place. I know of a few...

    Roadside Assistance

Forgot to mention. With CAA you also get 0.03 cents off per litre of gas at Shell gas stations. Just insert the CAA card prior to pumping. So on average thats an additional $50 -$60 per year in savings.

    Roadside Assistance

I have CAA+. Belive its the premium package. Covers car, motorcycle and bike also. If you also get insurance through them you can get an additional 5% off the insurance. Which ends up paying the roadside for itself. I found the CAA auto insurance was cheaper with them. But for motorcycle I used TD.

Toronto uploads Gardiner, DVP to province

Good deal for Toronto. DVP and Gardener are greatly used by commuters outside of TO. Only fair the maintenence is shared by GTA taxpayers and not just TO., With regards to the savings. Only time will tell if the funds actually get used properly. Hopefully its a shared resource e.g. social...

    Gp service department

Any authorized Dealer , whether its BMW, Honda, Ducati etc. Will be able to do the firmware update. In fact its the first item they check when I'm booking the service even before they recieve the bike. Simply by using your VIN they check the service history. No different than any car service at...

    Gp service department

Just to be clear the pick up and delivery service is extra. It depends on how far away also. They may give you some discount if you are doing a large service for example. The pick up service is good. They use a closed trailor so no concerns on weather or time of year.

    Gp service department

OP, interesting experience you had with GP. Good to know and we should always be educated on when things dont go well. On the other hand I have so far had good experiences with GP. Ever since Maranello closed and no longer supported Ducati. I was looking for a decent service shop that was able...

2023 MotoGP Discussion (No Links - Contains Spoilers!)

Hopefully Honda doesnt follow Suzuki's lead and leave MotoGP. It's become a costly year for them. No riders left. Bunch of bikes that had to be rebuilt. Are they last place in the manufacturers standings? This could be a chain reaction if Honda and then Yamaha both start to reconsider the...

2023 MotoGP Discussion (No Links - Contains Spoilers!)

Is anyone thinking the same as me. I wondering if Marc is done. He had so many crashes this weekend. His health let alone his performance can't continue like this. Everytime hes on track it seems it's a matter of when, not if he's going to crash. Not sure any other team would really want to take...

2023 MotoGP Discussion (No Links - Contains Spoilers!)

I was surprised Marc didnt walk over to Zarco 's garage to appologize. You know its part of his dayly routine. Go on the track, cause an accident that takes an innocent rider out, then go to their to garage and appologize . Just so that the public perception doesnt view him as a the person he...

2023 MotoGP Discussion (No Links - Contains Spoilers!)

I believe Luca is also on a 2022 bike and some of the Ducati riders behind him are on 2023 models? Also goes to show how things are with the 2023 Honda and Yamaha bikes when they may be less compettive than last years Ducati bikes.
