Moto Social events

I was at the Hamilton one from about 7-8 as well. Had a burger and beer with my wife & the dog (they drove) chatted a bit, grabbed an 8 pack and hit the road. Thankfully I had room to back out of my parking spot due to some willy nilly parking by a couple of bikes in front of me. Chilly ride but the heated seat & grips came in handy.

But even with the “measures” they put in place to discourage "questionable" behavior, the broccoli-heads with Jerry-pot helmets and the dive-bomb bros still found their way in.

The only MotoSocial I've been to, some guy decided to pull a wheelie right in the middle of a line-up of bikes. Crashed into the guy in front of him.

Tried to convince everyone it was an "accidental throttle" incident. Multiple videos show it was entirely intentional.

I hate meets like this.

I'd rather just ride.

Crashed into the 'girl', and they were friends. And she tried to cover for him but it ended spectacularly bad online for them.

Also there was a 3rd guy whose bike was collateral damage.

There was a BMW rider that he took out as well too. Guy on a R1200S, I believe. He stated quite bluntly that the guy intentionally wheelied.

Every time there's a big meet like this, you just know all the heat is going to be focused in that area. Best reason to go elsewhere for some WOT therapy:

Friday 13th in Dover? Good time to ride the Muskokas.
Sportbike Rally in Port Parry? Calabogie and the 511 lookin' good for that day...
