Insane powerful pig in a straight line. Kid and I could not fathom a machine that hits 120 kph in first.Honda’s clearly learned from its last 1,200cc V4 engine, which was impressive but undeniably heavy and complex.

That Aprilia V 4 is something special. I bought my Tuono in BC, and had a regular group that would ride the Sunshine Coast on summer weekends. After a couple runs where he could hear the Aprilia (stock pipe, too!), one of the other guys gave up 30+ years of Ducatis and went out and bought himself an RSV4. Still has it, still loves it.My RSV4 - the really good V4 - with stock gearing will do 144.5kph at 13,500 in first gear, and redline is 14,300. I say really good, because nothing sounds like them... roar, bark, gurgle, scream, they have a character all to themselves that the Ducati and Honda v4s just don't match.
I'll be at the front of the line banging on about Joey winning the TT on one...If they build something like the RC-30 again, just be warned, it'll attract a bunch of old guys standing around, reminiscing.
