Did something change with alerts?

When I usually click on the bell after seeing an alert of new posts, it usually shows a list of all recent posts and highlights the unread ones. But today it isn't highlighting the unread ones. Did something change last night or yesterday?

Imo, it looks similar to yours. On some screens, at some brightness levels, it has always been hard to see the blue background.
 
Shows same as before. New posts are in bold.

That's the "What's New". Mine is fine too. What I was referring to wqas the bell icon. When someone posts in athread I'm following, there's a red dot in the upper right corner and a number to say how many,. When you click on it, it drops down to show the posts, and before it was very obvious which ones were unread, wheres anow they all look the same with just a super pale blue background.
 
I figured out what's different - I'm looking at my iPhone using Safari, and when I touch the bell, the drop down shows not only a much darker blue background on the posts that I haven't read yet, but there are also blue dots on those. On the ones I've read they have a white background and the dot is also white.

Nothing has changed on the site... meaning no configuration changes and mine still works as it always did.

OK, more info - in Chrome the dots only show when you hover over the post now. Who ever thought that was a good idea?

That looks like Chrome on mobile, not Windows. As mentioned, Safari in iPhone looks fine too. So something to do with Windows because Firefox in Windows also has the same problem.
