PSA Booking hotels - DO NOT use Super.com

Maybe you are aware of this site and it's scummy business practices I wasn't.

They are booking service site similar to Expedia, Bookings.com etc.
Except when you book a hotel, they sign you up for a membership program, which has a monthly membership fee. The issue, they do not make it clear you've signed up for a membership, no confirmation, invoices, just suspicious charges on your CC.

The bank is refunding the charges and disputing it. Seems they've had to deal with this issue before.

Yeah for the majority of the bookings I did for my trip I used Bookings, all good, only 1 hotel with Super, never again though.

My advice for best service/price..

Call the front desk of the place you want to stay.

This has been downright the best/cheapest way I've found to book accommodations.

Those booking sites can pi$$ off.

Remote Thai village hostel #3737483 isn't really going to have that conversation

Plus a lot of places on bookings.com at least allow cancellation up to 24hrs before. Pretty handy when travel schedules change. If you're in country not having to chase down the people of said place to make these changes is a benefit.
