What litre bike gets 4.6l/100km?
Plenty of T120s get that, and he said his is 1200cc specifically, so the shoe might fit...

Kawasaki is offering a 5 Grand cash credit on those if you take their financing. Maybe a bit before their time or they just want to unload a turd no one wants.
I once led a group ride of 8 bikes. One guy had never ridden with me before. At one point we went through the few sweepers at Terra Cotta, coming up to Mississauga Road, and I had to wait 30 seconds for him to catch up. At the end of the ride he complained that I wasn't going fast enough in the straights. All those people who care about fuel efficiency of a motorcycle raise your hands!
How far I can get on a tank of gas? Yes!
Most bikes will out do my bladder but then there are the bushes on the side of the road.
Being the first one thru an intersection alows you to be the one T-boned by the vehicle running the red light.
I would rather get my jollies draging pegs in a corner at 60kph.

That’s impressive mileage. I can’t get under 5 on a stoic ride on my bigger bikes. I’m a little hard on the girls, so even my 650 rarely gives me 5.Sorry I lied but that is what the on-board computer indicated. Doing the math, it was 4.68L / 100 km.
Really easy to do.
542 km between fill-ups taking 25.340 L.
25.340 / 5.42 = 4.68 L / 100 km (rounded up).
And the best part is I still had 4.66 L left in the tank, good for another 99.5 km. Think of all the Dough-Nut shops I could have stopped at.
Hey this motorcycle isn't some toy.

The corners are where you have fun.
I generally accelerate into corners. For example I would do 40-50 Kmh on Guelph Line north, in the 50 zone, coming into Campbelleville. I would accelerate to 80-90 into the S curve into town, then roll off the throttle to be at 50 again before the train tracks. The braking for the turn, the turn and the drive out of the turn is where it is at.
Get to speed just before hitting the corner, let the suspension settle, then take it?How ya gonna go fast out of a corner if you don't carry 'nuff speed goin' into it?

They used that same sales pitch for turbo charged motorcycles, with the possible exception of the Kawasaki it was a uneventful couple of years.Given that street vehicles use high power for a small percentage of time and low power most of the time, it should be possible to make a hybrid lighter and more fun. Instead of a 1200, put in 400-600 and use hybrid to bring the torque and power above the 1200 baseline (instant torque from electric will destroy ice with similar peak numbers). Obviously added cost and complexity though.
I'm slower in the straights than I am in corners, generally speaking, on the street. Going in fast, trail braking, and accelerating through the apex is for the track, not the streetI have no idea how it works with motorcycles, but in the car I was in just about three weeks ago in a GT3 RS, I would trail braking into the corner, neutralize my power (hold it steady) for a bit and accelerate again.
Maybe you should go faster prior to braking for the corner. But don't get mailed with a ticket.![]()
