Great day to be out and a bout for the early part of the season. Might as well get this thread started.

My annual trip up to the Kirkfield Lock.

Pitstop in Port Perry to see how the lake is doing.

No boats yet! :ROFLMAO:

Yesterday, I rode to Creemore with a group of fellow Ducatisti as part of "We Ride As One," Ducati's annual global event.

The weather was, lame — a light drizzle in the morning and temperatures hovering between 5°C and 10°C the whole way.

Still, the ride was enjoyable, with a few nice sections of twisty roads. All in all, I was glad to be out on the bike and sharing the road with other riders.

Creemore is nice. We have a trial up there on the 25th.

Got to the boat railway, but it wasn't running, no boats!! Just to mark the day

Off to Wasaga, this place has been around since I was a kid. I always thought it was some indoor play thing, it's just a souvenir store etc.

The whole area has changed a lot. Most of the smaller resturants, ice cream, mini putt are gone. Replaced with a lot of typical commerical offerings. Plus everything on beach 1 is being torn down and a new hotel is going to be built on the strip... seems a little strange to me.

Off to Creemore, pretty sure this place was in Toronto

Had to see da plane!

Then headed home through Borden

nice. is BANANAS still on the beach?

The little loop you can do close to the beach, everything is being ripped down, it's also 1 way now because of the construction. I'm not sure where Bananas is though. It feels like a extreme case of gentrification.
it was this kitschy bar at sort of the northern tip of the beach

looks like its permanently closed. damn.

My buddy from the Kootenays rode over to our neck of the woods, so we joined him on his tour around the Okanagan.

Woke up much too early for a weekend to meet him at James Lake where he was camping out. It's only 20 minutes away behind our house, but a 8:30AM meetup time was a bit painful for me.

We rode FSRs up to Big White ski hill. Not all the way up, since there's still snow up at the summit. Turned back south towards the US border.

Big bike ride. We were a 1290 Super Adventure R, Tenere 700, 901 Expedition and my DesertX Rally.

Stopped often for little scenic breaks. This is Winnifred Creek Falls in the Kettle River Rec Area.

Wide open FSRs all the way south to Rock Creek, then a big lunch at the Prospector Pub!

Great day with amazing peeps, and the weather was perfect!

Did a run to Petewawa for some chicken!
Got the idea from another rider on Facebook, so why not give it a go.

Via Elephant lake, old barry's bay, and round lake which was nice. Return by Eganville via 512, 515, and 514 to Bancroft which were all great and no one around!

The wind picked up later in the day, and the black flies out of the city were crazy!

Kamaniskeg Lookout, thanks to @mimico_polak, been through this area a few times never knew it was there.

In NL they had T shirts emblazoned with the words Jesus Mary and Joesph under three faces - The J man, Joey Smallwood and Mary Brown!
Mary Browns started in Newfoundland.
