Safest way to remove stubborn coil packs?

I've been fighting with this for almost an hour...both coil packs rotate in their seated position but I can't get any play in order to wiggle them loose.
I'm afraid of using too much pressure and ripping the rubber apart with pliers - tried doing so already with medium pressure using some tissue as a sacrificial layer.
I read that some people suggest spraying some wd-40 / lubricant in between the walls and rotate - eventually it will give in.
Is this safe to do?

Sigh...was hoping to get to the spark plugs today : /

Any tips/suggestions would be much appreciated!

I spray something like WD-40 in to help. Sometimes you can get the tip of a blowgun in and a shot up air pops them right out.

Thank you @GreyGhost !
I managed to spray a little Krown blue penetrant in there and let it sit for 2 hours (wiggled it a little to get as much in as possible).

Also stopped by Canadian Tire to pick up this tool (proved to be completely useless as the plastic wrapping at the end started coming apart after 3 attempts lmao).

After another hour of swearing - I was like I may as well use more strength and pull it out....if something breaks - f it, garbage day is around the corner and I may as well buy my dream bike anyways.

Lo and behold it started coming out with the help of pulling up/twisting motion using my hands.

Side note - surprised to see that beach sand made it all the way here!

Too late, but a trick I use is to tie together 3 tie straps, place the two outside tie strap loops under the coil pack edges and pull the centre one up while twisting.

Picture? What's a tie strap? Sounds like a cool idea. I am not a fan of these coil on plug jobs as they all seem to be stuck everytime and don't all survive removal.

Right zip ties, I think that's what I meant lol.

Just looked at the picture again , not sure if it'll work on a motorcycle coil pack, doesn't seem to have anywhere to hook onto the side opposite of the plug. Works great on larger automotive coils though.

Edit:found pics, this guy is only using two but same concept
