This is great....Trump's lawyers are even more incompetent that originally thought...

I understand why lawyers like RG would be part of trumps team (trying to pass legacy money down the line, not working in the future anyway, dont care about your personal legacy or moral compass) but younger lawyers, wtf? This can't be paying enough for you to never work again (which is a very distinct probability when you are attempting to distort the law in a public forum). Maybe trump has them on contingency with lottery level money if they win? Jokes on them, he doesn't have it, the cheque will bounce.

Didn't take long for this fool to get his first war started

won't take long for his lies to catch up

Here you go..

Now...pop quiz...which superpower is the only one to have deployed military chemical weapons in a NATO member country in recent years?

It's not right to judge a party by its outliers. ~50% of the voting population picked republican. ~800 people entered the capital building (0.0002% of the US population).
I'm pretty sure 30% of the US still supports Trump and the people who Mad Mike so politely called occupiers of the Capitol.

Mad Mike: I love the wording of "violent crime against a person" makes it sound like only one person committed a violent crime. So the officer being crushed by a door wasn't violence by many? Threatening officers with death lest they leave their posts? Violence. Breaking into the capitol with the express desire to capture (and who knows what) is violence. I'd love to see an angry mob surround your house and break down your door have you say there was no violence.

A lot of mad scary looking people stormed the capital. But they didn't fire guns, they didn't loot and they didn't burn buildings. They put the capitol back together in 3 days.

Lets contrast that to the Minneapolis riots where 1500 business were burned and or looted, and $500million in property damaged. 130 different 'shots fired' calls to the police, 19 people shot, 2 homicides. It's won't be repaired for another 2-3 years.

Look, neither of these were peaceful events launched by nice ordinary people. Just put them into perspective.

Trying to overthrow a democratic process that leads to a new government is a serious thing I don’t think you can compare the two. Just because they failed doesn’t make it any less serious. Just because Guy Fawks screwed up doesn’t mean that what he attempted to do was a joke. Myanmar just had a successful coup...now look at what’s happening to that country.

So both were stupid? Why do you downplay only one? Occupied? Do you really believe that if the wrong people had gotten their hands on the right/wrong politician there wouldn't have been a much uglier end to the day? Do you think that the police NOT being ready and in some cases supporting the cause had nothing to do with the ease with which they entered. Do you honestly believe that if they had come back the next day/night and done the same thing there wouldn't have been severe bloodshed?

Bringing up BLM while talking about the Capitol riots seems like whataboutism.

Do you really think a rag tag crowd of Trumpian rednecks was realy a threat to American democracy? The occupation was at best a symbolic parting fart from a disgruntled dotard.

I doubt it was every a serious threat to democracy as a whole. I think it was a serious threat to certain individuals within the democratic process if the angry mob had got their hands on them.

A rag tag crowd that got a sitting Capitol in process evacuated...a police officer killed, a redneck idiot shot, a gallows built outside, a few nuts looking for representatives inside offices. Quite a lot of bad things start with rag tag crowds. Another rag tag crowd planned to kidnap and murder an elected official in Michigan too. Timothy Mc Veigh was a rag tag individual.

So were the 14,000 arrested in BLM riots.
