Small step forward. Niagara health ended their contract purchasing CEO services from St Joes. St. Joes BOD now has been hurt financially and had their reputation damaged by this turd. Hopefully they have some stones and fry him at the stake. If his parachute is too big, just put out a press release (only containing facts) that discusses the type of person he is to undermine all future employment opportunities.

Ontario doctor out as CEO of Niagara Health following Dominican Republic trip

The Niagara Health Board of Directors announced Wednesday that Dr. Tom Stewart is no longer the chief executive officer of the hospital system.

“For the last six years, Niagara Health has had a contractual agreement with St. Joseph’s Health System. Among other collaboration initiatives such as joint programs and services, the agreement provided for Niagara Health to purchase CEO services from St. Joseph’s Health System such that the organizations shared a joint CEO,” the statement read.

“The Board of Directors of Niagara Health have decided to end the purchase of CEO services within the agreement effective immediately.”

Probably cost the taxpayers a bundle but I'm thrilled he got dumped. Hope St. Joe's in Hamilton follows suit! Entitlement thinking with these self serving, pompous A-holes needs to carry significant consequences!

Meanwhile, I applaud the healthcare workers who are actually on the front lines carrying a very heavy load. Let's make sure they all get vaccinated asap so they can carry on with their amazing work!

Dick Pound has always been a twit, but his million dollar a year gig sort of hinges on the Olympics so of course he's on the bandwagon, atheletes first.
Like closing ice rink, gyms, massage stands, to all Ontarians except "high performance atheletes"

Just an short update on my experience after getting the Pfizer shot.

I got it on New Years day from a little local public health clinic. The following day I didn't feel great. I had the shivers and my big muscles like my thighs and butt were actually quite sore. I couldn't even go for my run. I didn't quite feel myself again until Monday so I was a little under the weather for 2 days, but since then I've been back to normal.

Now, hopefully the mind control will not kick in... LOL

You'd be surprised. Many are doing wait and see. Afaik, my wife is the only one in her department that signed up so far. They have a low risk of exposure but working with very high risk patients so she wants to do everything she can to protect them. Now whether the vaccine protects them or just her is still a question mark. There is a chance it helps protect them and little risk to her so she got it.

Except they wont be distributed evenly. Canada may have more doses than people and places like india may only vaccinate above a certain caste.

My luck they will do it alphabetically like they always did in school ? I will wait patiently for them to get to me like I did then.
... nobody ever has the foresight to reverse the order on occasion.

Some people have advocated for randomly drawing letters as an equitable way to decide who goes first. I like risk based distribution better than anything to do with the alphabet or class (although we all know risk will be swayed to accommodate class).
 
:whistle: I bet lots of grandparents get pressed into babysitting duties over the next few weeks.
