Heading to Port Dover tomorrow? Get a free Domio for helping us out!

I'll be there...PM'ing you now.

Looks interesting & price is reasonable but wish it wasn't so big.

Oh Domio !
From the title I thought it was a free pizza :|

That sounds like a way better deal! let me know when you are doing it in the east.

the new Moto version sounds good by the reviews

still some parts in Ontario where this speaker stuck to your helmet may cost you a ticket

maybe if anyone goes to PD13 and gets one of these
ask the cop/soldiers what they think of it?

No problem, just wear it for off-road and snowmobiling.

yeah

ripping around you're own private property
on a dirt bike or sled listening to music
very inviting

I'm sure that will have these things flying off the shelves

There was talk at our last CVMG meeting that Dover wants to shut down this event & that this could be the last. I doubt it.

Why would they want to do that? Too many loud pipes saving lives?

Thought the bulk of their yearly revenue comes from PD13?

OPP doesn't like it
they had a stern lecture with the municipality
and they do set public policy in Ontario

Move Over Dover is angling to steal the crowds
looks like a better spot to me

I'm guessing 10% of the population benefits from the day and 90% are inconvenienced. The local civic groups do well selling food and merchandise to pay for peewee leagues, Lions Clubs etc. The non entertainment businesses probably lose money.

lol I bet it's more like 2% local and all of the chip trucks come from elsewhere. Only way the municipality can see money from it is if they charge for an event permit plus garbage cleanup which is likely horrendous.

Appreciate all the comments and feedback about the product as well. We've shipped thousands and our customers love them. If anyone ever wants to demo the product you're more than welcome to! We are located just east of downtown. Ping me.

Cheers,
Seb

I went for many years, but stopped going when the riot police showed up. It's too big.

Would make really nice prizes have you considered sponsoring motorcycle events?

... is nothing big like Port Dover though
& we don't duck paddle any more then absolutely necessary

Maybe not our generation but have you ever seen a youngling that wasn't plugged into something?

If you were wearing a Domio would it drown out the sound of somebody's loud pipes?
That would be a problem at Port Dover wouldn't it, you won't hear the loud pipes, is that dangerous?

:D I think you would be best to just send it to me instead, I'll demo the heck out of it.

I'm gonna take the plunge on one of these things
they also sell earplugs that are designed to work with the sound device
allow music and enough ambient noise in
keep the wind noise out

had a ride today and tried the Mi6 Pros that I bought last year
started out good....decent sound, put on a Rush playlist
not realizing that I actually hate about 80% of their songs

after about 30 songs of Geddy screeching I had to pull over
damn near ripped a lobe off removing the helmet in a hurry with those things in my head
the bluetooth controls from the GPS to the phone's music player I never did get to work

so this on-the-helmet thing with large, glove operable buttons looks like the next attempt
$200 all in
I've spent twice that on seats that suck
