Wow, great response thank you for all the detail.

Although I really like my vfr and the full fairing look I'm getting tired of trying to keep it clean, lol. I've been considering a naked for my next bike and love the look (and that glorious exhaust) of the mt10.

Makes sense about too much power for the seating position, I don't intend on getting up to 250 on any bike on the road let alone a naked but I have heard its a handful to control.

Just made my short list shorter, thanks for the info

Edit sorry, responded to the wrong post, was meant for @Sebi

Nakeds are harder to keep clean imo.
I had a 2003 VFR like yours as well as a bunch of other fully faired bikes and they are easy to keep clean. Getting the dirt and grime out of all the nooks and crannies of an exposed motor etc. is a real pain.
I’m riding a Tracer GT now and can attest from experience.

YMMV.

Never looked at it like that, I guess my OCD with having a spotless bike won't have any rest even with a naked lol.

I really want to try out some beemers in the near future, how do you like it?
are they as boring as their german engineers?
Try a Beemer and it will surprise you. The attention to engineering detail and design, rideability and power, puts those bikes in the top quartile of my preference. I have ridden and/or owned RE's, Suzi's, Kawi's, Honda's, Triumph's, H-D's .... all great bikes, but for me Beemers are tops. Each to their own, whatever gets you going!

Wow! That's awesome. Very beautiful there, enjoy.

Picked up this beauty '07 FZ6
5200 original km, owned by an old lady, I dont think it had ever seen above 5000 rpm.
I wanted an inline-4 600cc but insurance is $4500 for a 600SS.
This is the next best thing and only $1100 a year

Gorgeous bike, congrats! Still have very fond memories of my FZ6.

Really digging the under-seat exhausts on that. Nice that it has a centrestand too; makes working on the back end trival.
