When was KLX250 discontinued? And is Versys 300 the replacement?

Just noticed that KLX is gone from Kawasaki's website. I think I have seen it last year but it might have been a 2015 model.

Looks like the Versys 300 kind of fills the niche but it is a much heavier bike.
They should've named it KLR300....

That leaves CRF250L as the only affordable small dual sport I think.

I thought it's being made with fuel injection and only sold overseas.

Yes, still available other countries but not in States or Canada.

Only a 2000$ difference between it and the WR250R, and you get a whole lot more bike.
