A little hard to see, but this dude has a canoe tied up at an angle in his pickup. I wonder how that is going to work on the highway?

I saw this guy on my way home yesterday on Don Mills. Really beautiful bike and looked very well taken care of.
As a former kayak owner I can say with 100% confidence that it won't end well. First that thing is going side to side, scratching up his paint. If he doesn't realize his error, at speed that thing is going flying unless that is one hell of a rope.
When I was first bringing my kayak home it went everywhere, even to the point where it was halfway off my trunk. The car behind me probably had a minor heart attack. This was in a car with a proper roof rack and I had multiple ropes at several points. Problem was the ropes weren't tight enough, they have to be as tight as possible. It's also important to tie around the kayak/canoe.
If you don't spend at least a half hour tying one of those up either your vehicle will become a sailboat or a serious hazard.

Or.... You do like a buddy of mine did. Strapped his canoe to the roof of his car but left the ends of the strap hanging. Went to move his car a few feet. Rolled the front tire over the end of the strap.... CRUNCH!!! Anyone need a half canoe?

Taxi driver parked in the bicycle lane. Blocking my shortcut to that turn, LoL.
Hmmm, there's always a well-dressed lady at this corner. Why do they have to walk with their purse on their elbow and a cell phone in their hand?

An e-biker riding without a helmet. I wonder if the pay-duty police man at the next light just ahead of him (behind me) will stop this violator or just ignore him?
Looked like a Grom at first, but then I noticed the e-bike logo.
Hey dude - the thumbs-up was a nice gesture, but tapping on the top of your helmet to warn me about the speed trap just ahead would've been nicer!

Thanks. Tried it though, both outside the case and inside the case. I suspect the airflow over the shape of the case is the trouble. Maybe one day I'll desolder the internal microphone and make a jack/lead for an external mic.

A little drizzle this morning, but my Icon PDX 2-piece rainsuit is easy-on with the full length leg zippers. My bike doesn't really look like a cop bike, but with the aux lamps and the hi viz jacket with the writing on the arms and chest, some drivers get fooled and quickly move out of the passing lane when I come up behind. More so when I'm wearing my blue 3/4 helmet vs the 1/2 bucket.
I think that this Fiat was pulled over for hand-held communication device.
Wet streetcar tracks(!) I've never really had a problem though. My tires are warm, and I don't make any abrupt stops/starts or otherwise linger on the metal tracks...
While I was getting my gear on, I was watching these two yapping away while the line of cars built up behind them. Finally the cop came out and gave them a 'WTF'.
Dude - that Softail is a sexy beast, but your backpack doesn't fit in with your muscle shirt and german-style helmet. I'd suggest a bed-roll type bag over the headlight/handlebars.

After greasing and tightening the steering head, I took the Harley out for a test ride and for some gas. Received a thumbs-up from an Aprillia rider (RSV1000R?)
Then took the muddy DR650 over to the Shiney Times coin wash.
On the way out, I noticed that another motorcycle had come into the coin wash...

Bayview has some curves and is surprisingly clear despite the stop-and-go just east of here on the DVP.
But, proceed with caution, of course -
