Bike parking/Where to park?

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to city riding and was perplexed with parking regulations in the city.

Are bikes exempt from parking fees?

Where do you leave a parking slip on a bike?

Can you park on a curb/shop front?

Any help would be much appreciated

You can park on street in pay in display areas for free. Definitely don't park on the sidewalk/ storefront.

You may want to pay attention to the Stickies at the top of the forum. Parking downtown is discussed a lot on this forum.
For now, you do not pay for kerbside parking. You must adhere to the parking rules stipulated by signs. There are some motorcycle parking areas around the city as a pilot program, but cars can park there too.
