I had good experiences buying my CBR650F from Brampton Powersports...if you go there, talk to Ian in sales. Lindsay Cycle seemed fair too.

As for ones to stay away from, I'd steer clear of Markham Outdoor Power for sales (great for service though) unless they talk numbers, as they wanted to sell me a bike OVER the MSRP cost...lol. I also have had bad experiences at Clarington Honda so I'd probably avoid them as well.

Orange is different. Very KTM-ish.

Very big fan of this bike here. Good ergos (standardish riding position), adequate power for an experienced rider, not overwhelming for a newer rider. It also helps that I like the look of the bike. :)

I wish they would bring the naked version of the CBR650 here.

Although 2016 model looks refreshed, mechanically it seems very close (adjustable front suspension, nicer levers etc.) to 2014 and 2015 models. Anyway, I have 2014 F model and so far it exceeded my expectations. Great comfortable ride, reliable and cheap on aftermarket parts and accessories. CB500F is a bit underpowered but it still gives you a lot room to play if pushed in all right revs.

Awesome bike and love the orange

My friend owns one and he's very happy... But he finds it a lil underpowered for 2up riding

Sturgress and Burlington cycle are both Honda dealers in the West end

Rick at Burlington Cycle is awesome as is Jeff from Milton Honda Powersports...the service guys at Milton Honda (Martin and Nick) are awesome as well...

I don't know if they ripped off ktm, but it sure looks a lot like the Honda cb1000r.

What's wrong with the 700s?

It is not everyone's cup of tea. It is kind of an unusual design for a motorcycle engine. Very low emissions, very good fuel economy, and a very strong torque curve but low horsepower for displacement. The big thing I think they should have done differently is to have utilized hydraulic valve lifters.

If you like a cruiser powerband this engine will be right up your alley. In the CTX700N cruiser it is a perfect fit. In the NC700X it works as well because the ample torque works well off road. In the NC700S though it was a bit of an outlier. Oddly enough this was the bike that interested me because it would be great for commuting with the "frunk" integrated storage and the fuel efficiency would be awesome. I must be in the minority and this must be why the "S" is not offered this year.
