Any good deals to be had at motorcycle show this weekend?

Anyone know if there will be good deals on gear at the bike show? I mean to pick up a few things before the season starts. Don't want to spend the $20 or however much it will be to get in though, unless there are good deals. I can just go to a dealership if I want to look at the bikes.

From what I heard nothing special. Friend let me know if you were to pick up deals to maybe try for used or new on Kijiji or this sites classified.

GP is having their, "NO Tax" sale; otherwise it's really all about the manufactures. I'm going Friday night, I'll post if it's worth the $20 afterwards.

I was there setting up earlier today, first off OP this is the show that focuses on new bikes/products and less on the sale of merchandise. There are a lot less booths at this show that actually sell products its more for promotion, so don't expect too many great deals then again I don't know what you consider a 'great deal'. The main retailers for gear are GP and Rider's Choice and both have taxes in sales but focus more on higher end/premium product.

btw for those that are wondering yes, the H2R is there alongside the H2.

Does GP still honor their "coupons" for 10-20% off of an item on the show prices at the shows?

Those coupons are good at the store I think up to September. But it say can't be added to other promotions + the list of what it can't be used for that cover half of their store. Being tax off at the show they may turn away the coupon.

Kinda brutal since everything i want to buy is excluded on the coupons.
Dainese jacket, AGV helmet and some rearsets for the Daytona

My dad was looking for his first bike and picked up a new 2014 CTX700N. Price was good at $6,100 taxes included plus Honda had a show special where they through in 2yr warranty, back pack and a $500 voucher towards training (like getting your full M).

my trip was well worth it.

I previously booked RTI for april for $500.

i went to show and pulled out a $50 off coupon for RTI M2 from their booth. I calling on Monday to get my $50 refunded!

edit: Refund received! very happy camper!

$32 profit from attending show :o

Skipped the show. Went to GP and Royal. Found new Alpinestars SMX-Plus boots at GP in all black and my size marked down to $75 from $430 because they were mismatched (one vented, one regular). No tax either :). Better deals at the stores than the show imo
