So. I didn't get to ride but that doesn't mean I am not still keen on learning as much as I can about 'my girl'.

I have heard there are some basic maintenance courses out there for new riders/owners like myself and if so, would be interested in participating in a winter session some place. (Can't think of a better way to spend a cold February....except someplace warm on a bike...)

Anyone know where I can go? Left some messages for the community college programmes but haven't had a response. (Humber and Centennial...)

That's all....and Happy Seasons to You!

I doubt you'll find bike repair courses, but you can take auto mechanic course instead. Check out centennial college.

But unless you intend to work as a (licensed) mechanic i don't see the point. Get a service manual for your bike and just follow the instructions.

+1

Haynes or Clymer if you can't find the original manual.

There's also a Youtube video for just about anything that can possibly be done to fix a bike.

There was a course in November by Z1 Tuning for beginners.

and a review from someone who doesn't post much on this forum.

They are suppose to have an advanced course, not sure if it has happened yet.
