hi, i have an m1 and going to get an m2 soon. I was looking at the Honda grom and was wondering how much it would be to insure it. If anyone knows a rough estimate pls tell me.

$3000+

That's the default number for young people if you want actual details call an actual broker for ****'s sake. You give us a bike and class of license and expect us to give you an estimate...

I can guarantee it will be somewhere between $0 - $10,000 per year. Seriously NO one on this forum can give you even a CLOSE estimate. We have no idea if you have a G licence? How old you are? Where you live? Have you had any tickets? What other vehicles you may also want to insure? Will you be bundling a residence? Is the bike new? Used? Will you be paying cash for the bike? Financing? etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.

Why not try what everyone else does. Pick up the phone and call some brokers and get a REAL quote. Do NOT use the online quotes they are ALWAYS wrong.

But that would require the slightest bit of effort ...

A Grom is going to be amongst the most reasonable options to get insurance on for a new rider, but as some have not so tactfully mentioned...there's many, many other variables that make getting a quote here impossible. Even your postal code can end up with your rate being hundreds of dollars more per year vs the next postal code over. Accidents? Tickets? It all matters.

Call around and get a variety of quotes from a variety of companies and go accordingly. I found this thread very helpful when I was in your situation.
