Clear coating

Hello, does anyone here have a link or do themselves clear coating for a good price? I have a matte carbon fiber fender I wanted coated, got quoted $100 plus tax at some repair shop. Thats like few more dollars short of just buying a whole new fender in my case.

you can get a can of

2K clear coat from them and apply it yourself, you can see the can on the right in the picture

^ Nice job.

If this is a urethane clearcoat (probably is - that's generally what most two-component finish coats are) try not to breathe that stuff. Isocyanates verrrry verrry bad for you.

Way too much. I had the same project this summer. I went to a couple automotive paint shops and asked for pricing on clear coat if they included my piece amongst other jobs. I paid around $20-$30 IIRC, because they've got their profit from the other job already and my request is pure gravy for them.
