Spidi Custom Suits

My wife used their custom service for a suit. Turned out great, but be prepared to wait.

That quickly became a $2500 suit. There's a company in the Czech republic that does custom kangaroo suits and from the little time I've spent checking them out, they're probably in the $1800 range (custom size/colours/features also).

I did like the Spidi suit I built online though, nice feature. If I had to choose between an A* or Dainese off the rack suit, or a custom Spidi, it would be the custom Spidi hands down.

It definitely goes over the $2g mark once you start choosing Kangaroo and custom fitted. At that point, we're talking about a MotoGP suit. If you fit Spidi suits spot on, it's pretty affordable to have your own custom colour-way.

Those Spidis are nice, but there's no choice on suit type other than the hyde. Starting at about the same money you could have a choice of about 4 models from Dainese, measured by one of their own tailors. They come to Toronto (Riders Choice) every October.

The cost of a suit worn by a rider in motoGP would be significantly north of $2000.

I would not waste my money on Kangaroo either ,unless it was a substantial deal,, too risky.
If you're a Moto GP rider then fine,, the rest of us get the not so good kangaroo hide which is way worse then cow.

True. But I read/saw somewhere that Spidi's motogp suits are essentially the Track Wind Pro model with the exception that they're Kangaroo and of course tailor fitted for the rider. I don't think Spidi does airbag tech yet like Dainese or Astars.

And is the advantage of Kangaroo simply for weight savings? If you crash in a Kangaroo suit, i'm guessing it's no longer safe to wear again (depending on crash of course)?
