M2 (ontario) license question

Perhaps a silly question but:

I recently got my M2. When I went to the DriveTest centre to get it I was presented with a temporary M2 that looks like this:

(which looks a lot like the M1 did) and which has an expiry date in late Dec (3 mos after its issue.)

I'm assuming that I will receive something more substantial (and which has an expiry 5 years out...) in the mail from the Ministry. Is this correct or have I been hosed?

You'll get a new license in the mail. The same thing will happen with your M.
