2015 Yamaha R1

Better render. And with F4 pipes!

I wish they would all adapt mirrors like this instead of the larger ones used currently. That's a good looking bike but personally more than 2 pipes is too much

I would have taken your post seriously if there was a holla. Marquez can't possibly get any gooder and if Honda makes the bike any firster hell be doing like a zillion miles an hour

216 mph in Qatar, enough that they may change the carbon disc sizes up to 340 because these bikes are faster than though they would be.

Apparently there is 5 special edition 2015 R1's coming to Canada with full carbon fiber fairing's and full Ohlins suspension. Good friend of mine has his hands on a pre-order for one if they release it for 2015 or 2016.

Why is it always someone's friend never the actual person.

So it will be the exact same bike with some "ohlins" suspension and different fairings. BNG sign me up!

Under tail has advantages as does under engine, but which ever of those two makes the sound of that growler better heard, that's the one they should go with: what an amazing, sexy sounding engine is that cross plane crank engine.:love4::headbang::jerk::happy6::male::thumbleft:

The exhaust has maybe 1% to do with the sound of the R1, which is amazing. It sounds like it makes lots of power.

No motorcycle ever been made that had the sound of the stock exhaust note change "1%" with aftermarket pipes. :p Though the firing order may create a certain note, it's the exhaust that let's it be heard a certain one way or another. ;)

So what exhaust can I put on my zx10 to make it sound like the 09+ R1? :p;) Maybe I'll just make it an undertail style, that will fix it.

I don't think I said an exhaust system can make an exhaust note sound like it's from a different bike than the one it's on, just that changing the exhaust on any bike in and of itself *will* change the sound of that motorcycle...by more than 1%. That could be louder, deeper, quieter, raspier etc. but an exhaust system will define how the bike sounds, not how it makes that sound. I've heard cross plane engined R1's with stock canisters and with aftermarket systems, and the aftermarket sounds better by more than 1%..more like a 100% better. :p I'd buy one just for the sound...who needs 200hp? Give me 125hp and that growling sound, and I'm happy.

Sorry to tell you...nothing can make a non-growler, in-line 4 sound good. Get a growler or a twin if you want a sweet sounding bike :p
