Safety Inspection on an unfit bike bayview and eglinton

Wow. Promoting. Sorry, I'll just leave it at this. OP, good luck with rolling your bike to the nearest Canadian Tire to make it all "legal" as per Paul's conclusion.

lol

I never said that.

Dont be mad bro

When rolling your bike to CT for the safety make sure you have the ownership with you and handy. When I rolled mine up to the Honda dealer on the Danforth (gone now) I was stopped 4 times.

Why not just drive the bike to the nearest garage? Every bike I've picked up on Kijiji, I just slapped an old plate on it and got it to a garage for safety. (I may be completely missing the point of this thread though)

Some people don't want to risk a $5000 fine

Pretty much the easiest way to get things done. As long as you're carefule.

Jesus christ!!! $5000??? I had no idea... Even with the ownership and what not?
lol yes - The ownership does not provide insurance if you happen to crash your bike against a school bus on your way to the safety.

Or is the ownership prof of insurance? don't understand why you would think this is ok.

I do a lot of stupid **** and even I know not to do this.

I understand it's not proof of insurance and I'm just driving the bike to a local garage. I was wondering if you got pulled over and explained to the cop whats going on if the ownership would be enough to avoid a fine.

Nah, cops couldn't care less.
