So there has been alot of talk regarding HID's and some are for them and some are against. i almost pulled the trigger on a set of the cheap ones, but decided otherwise.
I researched my *** off as to what to go with and what not, but decided on Osram night breakers. These things are amazing!! First night out with them last night and I was completely amazed!
A true white shine, lights the road up well beyond the stock ones, yet you still have the corner visibility unlike the HID's. For $30 shipped to my door, I just thought you guys would wanna check these out.

I used to believe in higher-output halogen bulbs, too, until I realized that in order to achieve that higher output (with the same power input) they sacrifice longevity.

Be sure to let us know how long they last.

Will try those when my PIAA Super Plasma GT-x's burn out.

While the car I had them in wasn't a daily driver, I had them last I'm sure over two years. If every two years I have to shell out a bit for that much better lighting it's worth it to me.

Halogen?? Rubbish... Why not just go with LED's instead?

They say 1-2 years, even at one year for $30 is not bad at all!

It is hard to sell people on halogens and that they can be any better then stock, but if you see these bubls in person and especially at night then they would grab a set for sure!

Try a set of these.... they're great

Stock Civic bulbs--headlights, signals, brakes--lasted 13 years (daily driver, on day and night). Eventually ONE headlight burned out, although the highbeams and DRL circuits still worked! I would say that's Japanese quality but the bulbs were stamped Bulgaria.

A true white shine,

Weird how it is a white light as it is 3700K, I always thought white started around 5000K....

HID's don't lose corner visibility, Projectors lose corner visibility.

Thats the entire Lamp tho . That things not a drop in bulb it replaces your entire lense as well. They are cool and if they make a none 7" version that would fit in my standard susuki 6.5 on my GS i would buy one.

No way. I only use LED's. They outperform regular conventional halogen bulbs:
- more light output
- don't get hot
- last longer
- less power consumption
- shock resistant

RIP halogen :evil2:

Are you confusing HID with LED.

I have LED lights for singals breaks ETC. But there has not yet been produced a Drop in LED light bulb for head lights that puts out the same lumins as halogen.

If im wrong can someone link me to the product? Cause i would love that upgrade even at 100 Bucks a pop
