Watched that on the weekend actually. Was laughing at how the tires changed magically depending on the terrain the bikes were riding on. I am tempted to get knobby tires for my ZX6R to do some dirt biking.

Isn't that the one where 2 sport bikes magically grow knobbies when the chase goes off road, Lol!

Steve McQueen did quite a few jumps to set up for the scene but when it came to doing the actual scene the insurance people for the movie put a stop to it. Bud Ekins, the stunt co-ordinator for the film ( and a good friend of Steve's) did the jump for the movie.
