slight bent in rim....help

I ran into a pretty deep last minute pothole at night and just wondering if its safe to balance a new tire with that rim, or get a new/used rim? Any idea of some places to get a used rim for 2001 gsxr 600 17"?
 
Call Dave at Competition Cycle, he may just have a GSXR rim but if he doesn't he'll know where to get one

Take the rim off the bike and tire off the rim. Set the rim up on something that will allow you to spin it freely. Observe the edges. If there is a wobble or dings that you notice, replace the rim. If not, replace the tire. Or just find a nice straight, flat, good condition road and ride a little fast. If the steering starts to wobble you need to replace one or both of those. If not, it's probably fine.
