No need. Way over my budget
If you get charged with HTA172 I'll say "I told ya so" ;) It's WAY cheaper than a racing ticket :)

Judging by your bike, going 50+ isn't very hard. Take a look at the implications. You'll be out approximately $1,000 (or damn close) before going to court.

Fixed that for you.
Remember, arguing with the officer on the side of the road gets you an instant $5,000 reminder not to do it again.

All this money on radar detectors, tickets etc. Isn't going to the track cheaper? :hello2:
Barely, or not even :)

You know I used to tell this to all the wannabe street racers. But then I realized tracking my car cost SO much more than you think. I would assume it's the same for bikes.

I can't/won't ever calculate the total of tyres/rims/brakes/bodywork/random **** that get's broken and then you're high and dry 100 miles from anywhere to get anything fixed. A single 255/35/18 NON DOT tyre costs 400$ to replace so hooliganism on the racetrack nets you a very very bad return indeed.

It's not cheap at alllllllllll. Why do you think most of the MotoGP and F1 racers are millionaires long before they even enter the sport. Racing is an expensive hobby.

Wow, care to elaborate? =/

$1000 for a mid range suit

Then you need to actually pay for lessons (unless you want to learn by wrecking your bike, which I don't intend to) which averages to another $1000.

Then you start having to plan stuff with friends, buy tires, maybe an extra set of rims, etc. etc.

...NO =P

I still fully intend to track, but it's not cheaper...nor is it comparable. We're not trying to beat our average commute time in rush hour -_-

Pretty sure I saved a few riders from some tickets today up in Wasaga :P. That place was crawling with OPP speed traps. Good thing I was enjoying the sights and the ride going 10 over when the cop pointed the radar gun at me. Such a dirty spot where the 80 zone drops to a 50 abruptly.

When I tracked my car my used track BBS rims were $1000, Toyo888 r-comps were another $1000, around $10000 into car mods, every lapping event was about $100.....and now I have blown engine lol
Sooo not cheap....but I always had tons of fun. Now I need like $5k to fix her up.

There are so many tickets being handed out that.... the other day I saw a cop hiding behind a pole pointing his radar at the low flying Cessna.... I crossed him doing 10 under!
