Similar but cheaper camera like GoPro?

Can you tell me what editing software you used to get both rear and forward images to show up in one screen? Good clarity from both cameras.
Thanks.
Adobe Primere Pro CS6. It's not fun trying to sync two different brands of cameras (the gopro has a slightly strange frame rate so it gets out of sync), but if I had two of the same cameras it's super easy.

In case you've never used primere before, just put both videos in the timeline (video track 1 and track 2), then double click on the video showing in the preview window and you can resize it and it'll be picture in picture :) make sure to mute the audio track for one of the cameras or it sounds extra funky.

Thanks. I do have 2 different brands of cameras so it will be fun to start playing around with the software.

Sounds good :) If you find a loud noise (like clicking the shifter into gear, or a throttle blip, etc.), it's easy to line up the two audio spikes in the cameras for perfect sync (at least at that point). Then fast forward to the end of the video and find a similar sound and see if the peaks are still in sync. If not then you can stretch one of the videos so it has flawless sync all the way through (I have to time-compress GoPro Hero2 to -.03% for it to sync flawless with the Drift HD Ghost).

Have fun and post up some ish when you get er done.

I was looking at this cam as well, but it is big compared to the others. I was thinking of getting a regular flash camcorder and mounting it(mounts available on amazon and ebay) really I don't ride in the rain

Its not big at all. Bhphotovideo.com had it on sale I think it was like 215 taxes and shipping included. Make sure you update the firmware.

I'll try posting a video @ 1080p 60fps

Or you could just do a single clap after you turn on the cameras...

I'll try that but I doubt either of my cameras, on their lowest audio setting, could hear that. Usually me clicking it into gear, I can hear on the gopro, and see the shake on the rear cam, so it works :)

Too bad the box they used looks like really cheap **** lol. Double layered cardboard

Yes, because packaging is the most important part of the entire deal :lmao:

Just found this thing...looks like they've copied GoPro right down the packaging

I bought this one to try out facing the rear. got it at factory direct for $60. Of course you get what you pay for, the picture quality is not the best but it is sufficient to see what occurred in the event you get rear ended.
