Where to buy Yoshimura exhaust

My friend has this exhaust on his 2010 600RR (same as yours) and it sounds awesome, and it's a great price: http://www.biohazardcycles.com/servlet/the-6413/BIG-GUN-16-dsh-1622-SLIP/Detail

Best prices I've seen on Yosh, just for comparison:

09 CBR600RR:

$423.56 Yosh RS-5 slipon FULL CARBON (called Carbon/Carbon), includes stainless steel link pipe.
$333.95 Yosh RS-5 slipon Stainless with Carbon end cap (stainless/carbon), includes stainless steel link pipe.
$389.99 Yosh RS-5 slipon Titanium with Carbon end cap (ti/carbon), includes stainless steel link pipe.

At the same time you're upgrading the exhaust drop on a Z BOMB retard eliminator ($50) and unlock some of that awesome power ;)

get the akra exhaust. its double the cost but looks way better.... performance wise, its about the same.

i was looking into the yosh but if you want to get a integrated tail light it sits too high and blocks the light, also it wont fit in the rumble concepts fender eliminator that i wanted (and now have)
you can buy a lowering bracket from tripage for the yosh.(and they are having a memorial day sale on their integrated tail lights)

email sales@dynamiccycleparts.com for yosh, i found they had the cheapest price on it, but their website is weak..

those are good prices.

ive heard about the z-bomb, but how does it work if you add, say a power commander? does it make the z-bomb pointless?
not that i feel i need extra power right now, but ill be doing headers and pc-v or bizzaz eventually. leaning towards bizzaz if i can justify wanting/needing all the features.

A z-bomb is a stand alone unit (doesn't require power commander or bazzaz). It modifies the ignition timing (where as power commander and Bazzaz only control the fuel), so I would start with the z-bomb then you can add power commander or bazzaz later.

PCV with Autotune or Bazzaz with AFM are awesome.

If you're thinking about doing all of that I would just recommend getting your ECU flashed! http://ecunleashed.com/ecu-tuning-item/2003-12-honda-cbr600rr-2/

Around the same cost as PCV + Autotune (and you don't need z-bomb anymore either) and they'll load in a flawless fuel map right into the ECU (for whatever exhaust/air filter you end up running), it's a mind blowing difference.

Have fun with the new bike :D

im gonna have to read into it some more. i like the t/c feature bizzaz comes with, but dont think its really something i need.

not too interested in the full programming of the ecm. ide rahter have a piggyback system that does the same things.

No piggy back system can do everything the ECU flash can. If you're thinking Bazzaz with AFM and TC then I would probably just go that plus z-bomb and skip the ECU ;)

Thanks for the info all. Some great tips. Where does the z bomb attatch to? Love the Yosh sound as i had on my gaxr before. Good onfo about the integrated and lowering bracket. Have some thinking to do as i want to order this stuff this week.
Cheers

Usually plugs into a connecter under the gas tank, but not 100% sure on your bike.

I love the 600 RR. Just sold mine. My only complaint was there isn't a decent fender eliminator available. I went with the R and G racing eliminator which I found was the best option. Tripage light is nice but it's easily obscured by the pipe.

Any disadvantages to getting a used slip on?

No disadvantages other than visible wear and you may need to repack it. Unless it has a pretty significant amount of km's on it you shouldn't have to worry about repacking though.

Also I had the same bike and the carbon rs-5 ended up trimming about 2 inches off the length of the actual muffler. Looked completely factory when I was done, didn't sound any louder, and my integrated tail light was way more visible. The stainless would be easy to shorten as well. Something to think about...

This. If you can find out how many KM's are on it, and if the guy had a power commander/bazzaz, smog block off's, etc.

Those are US prices, taking into account exchange rate and shipping and you can get cheaper in Canada, I know :-)
