Honda F4i brake light on

Hey anyone have any solution my brake lights stays on doesn't do anything when u press either hand or foot pedal any ideas Honda 05 F4i Thanks
Usually caused by the front brake lever. There's a little switch that turns the brake light on when you pull the lever. Sometimes the little post that turns the switch off when you release the brake lever breaks off or bends, sometimes the switch gets loose and moves so the bar can't turn it off anymore, and of course the switch itself could be bad. You can check it with the continuity function on a multimeter.

I assume the rear brake works in a similar fashion but I've never had one of those fail so I dunno :)

What Jamie said, but definitely check the rear brake too. I had my brake light stuck on on my F4i when I improperly adjusted rear brake. Check around the actual brake lever, you will see how to adjust it. Or I can dig out the PDF service manual when I'll get home tonight if you want.

Unplug one brake switch at a time and watch to see if the lights go out. Easy to find out which one is messed up. If it stays on when both are unplugged, you have a harness problem.

Hey thanks I pulled off my rear brake and that was causing the issue the spring was too tight so it was showing I was holding the brake. I had to weld the peg holder so I guess I had spin it a bit. Really appreciated the help to check each brake now I can show when am stopping thanks again Honda CBR F4i05
