Where can I get this glove?

Ok so i ordered this glove from GPBikes:
http://gpbikes.com/alpinestars-gp-x-glove.html

And they e-mailed me saying that they don't have that model anymore and their distributor doesn't supply that model anymore. They sent me a picture of a new model that looks a little different but I dont like it.

I dont like the fact that it doesn't have that webbing between the pinky and ring finger. Also instead of a straight cuff around the wrist, it has a rounded part around wrist bone which I also dont like.

Where can I get the older model? Frankly, I think it would be better for me to go get it myself than order it online. Or do any of you guys have any suggestions of other kinds of gloves I can get that GPBikes has since I will try to haggle a good discount from them for this whole mishap considering it took them an entire week to get this far. They even messed up my order by saying i order 2 gloves and it was meant to be picked up and not delivered.

I want a glove that is a short straight cuff, beefy, and in the same price range.

Thanks in advance.

Not a lot of gloves come with the webbing between the pinky and ring finger.
The only other pair I know of are the Five RFX-1 gloves, but they're full gauntlets not shorties.
I own a pair and though they're not as thin/comfortable as my Dainese's they definitely provide excellent protection.
A little more money than the ones you have posted, but well worth it IMO.

(I bought mine from GP Bikes 2.5 years ago for less than the price in the link)

I'm not going tell you that gauntlets are better than shorties but it's something to consider because they do provide better wrist protection.
I have two pairs of gauntlets and a pair of shorties and I wear my shorties more often in the summer.
The gauntlets are great for spring/fall riding.

If you're dead set on that style, contact Sturgess Cycle, he has great deals and sells Alpinestars stuff.
They're also a vendor here, so you can just PM them and they'll get back to you.

Good luck!

I ended up getting the A* SP-X gloves. It got better reviews than the GP-X

I cry for the Kangaroo's and Stingrays that were sacrificed in the production of my gloves. Specially the stingrays

^^ now thats a heavy duty glove!! The SP-X that I got is pretty beefed up also. Definitely an upgrade from my Joe Rocket Speedmaster 2.0 gloves. Those old gloves felt like they may fall apart if i land palm down. Incase I do fall, god forbid, what is the best thing to do with my hands? Tuck em in or make a fist or what?

The spx is a useless glove. Don't get me wrong it's quality but its a 3/4 length that can't go over your jacket and is very hard to tuck in your jacket.

If I were you I'd just get a full gauntlet but if your really hell bent on getting shorties get ones that will tuck in your jacket.

Took me 4 sets of gloves to realize gauntlets are the best gloves you can get.
Gp-pro, spx, thunder, and some cheapo five shorties

You'll only wear gloves tucked into you jacket until you catch either a bee, or a hornet up your sleeve. If you survive that, you'll know to buy gauntlets in the future, and wear them over your sleeve.

Mina? Why don't you need the safety of gauntlet gloves in the summer?

Don't buy into the hype of brand names. Get the gauntlet gloves from Bickle Racking. Well made and affordable.

I will be gauntlet gloves and I was looking at Bickle. I did notice the SP-X were a bit hard to get into my jacket but the still managed to stay. The ventilation is insane on the SP-X, definitely gonna be a glove i wear on a super hot day and if its a super hot day, I probably wont have a jacket on. Dont get my wrong, Im all gear all the time kinda guy but Toronto summers do get humid and there will be days where I won't be able to stand wearing a jacket. I will have all my other gear on though. SPX for days I don't wear a jacket, and gauntlet gloves for days I do wear a jacket.
