Fairing Repainting

i wrapped my bike , most wrapping shops said they dont wrap bikes, too much work. one of them asked $1000 plus they told me to take off the fairing and bring them to shop... its better to wrap it by yourself since material doesnt cost much. u need to be patient and get someone to help you with stretching and heat gun...

Seems like a lot of work, especially considering I have no experience. Maybe I might try just the fairings and see how that goes.

You could plasti dip it, $50-100 for the stuff you would need depending where you get it, and easier to apply + easily removable.

Yeah that's true. I'm planning on plasti dipping my rims already anyways.

Just did mine, came out really good. Just be sure to wipe it down really well before spraying with rubbing alcohol and let it dry.

Anyone going down to Reflections Auto Refinishing in Niagara Falls (carboncat) this month?
I would like to drop off a couple of fairing pieces to be re-painted.
Thanks, Tom

i asked couple of wrapping shops in GTA, Most said they dont do motorcycles, too much work. one asked $1000 , i decided to wrap myself . didnt do a good job , but still looks cool to me...

id like to know how much your friend charges

He finally got back to me and said he did a Gixxer with a vinyl printed with all years of playboy covers for $500.

That price was fairings not needing any body work and off the bike.
