Alpinestar Supertech R -- 'life expectency'

I'm still trying to find the time to stop by GP or somewhere else and order a pair of Supertech Rs for the coming season, but I was wondering (from those who have them), how long do they last/hold up, specifically regarding the sole? Given the price of these boots I'd hope to get years and years of street riding out of them before needing to repair/replace anything (assuming I don't go down), and don't plan on walking in them very much so 90% of the time would be on-bike.

Also if anyone has replaced the soles, where did you take them and what was the cost at the end (including shipping)?

I have two seasons on mine... 16 race weekends and about as many trackdays.. On Vortex rearsets and they're still ok. Starting to wear down the sole under the balls of my feet but they likely have another season left in them.
