(this might be the wrong section, if so, mods pls feel free to move the post).

so im thinking of getting a set of stands (front and rear). i just want the rear one. so does anybody here need a front stand? just pay for the actual price of the stand and i'll cover the shipping etc. or this can be further discussed.

send me a pm if interested. im looking at the kapscomoto combo stand that they have on sale.

I believe Royal Distributing has the rear stand for $45. Might be a better option for you.
I'm thinking of going there sometime this week and picking up the set. (I want the front and rear)

hmm. thanks. will check this out. would you happen to know if the stand requires a spool? im looking for a non spool stand.

I believe they have both.
If u don't mind me asking, why don't you want the front also?? It's great for storage from what I hear.

They have both kinds, and also have spools in stock. I find the spool stand holds the bike way more secure than the paddle stands.

Some bikes dont come with spool holes stock, so you'd have to either drill into the swingarm or get the padded stands.
Maybe that's why he wants padded.

Ahhh. Wasn't aware some bikes don't come with spool holes :) Every bike I've owned had em! lol.

I know the GS500 doesn't (and really, you don't need them. Centerstand ftw!)

yeah my bike doesnt have spools or spool holes, therefore paddle style stand.

i dont see the 45$ stand at royal from their catalog. i see the 99$ combo one though.

i just think that i would need the rear stand more than the front. and really at this time it is just not required. maybe at a later time i might end up getting one hahahah. but for now only the rear stand. plus i get to save $ hahah.

sorry, the one they have is the one that requires the spools.
Btw the one you pointed out is 10% off this weekend I believe.

If its a proper frame stand rather then a fork stand I would be interested.

i was planning on ordering from kapscomoto.

i get the rear/paddle stand, you get the front stand.

you pay 50% of the subtotal plus tax. and i'll cover the shipping.

so for the item above, 69.99 + shipping 7.99 + tax = 88.1174 (total)

so 69.99/2=34.99+tax = 39.54, let's just say 40$. it will cost you 40$ for the front stand.

if you actually buy it separately, 39.99+shipping+tax = 54.22$ (45.18 without shipping). that's about 15$ savings.
