Scratched M4 Exhaust - How to Fix?

I've got a flat black M4 GP exhaust that has a scratch on both the outer and inner edge of the endcap. Can is flat black in colour. What's the best option for covering up the scratches?

paint ? flat black, high heat, header paint, stove or BBQ paint, the trick will be to find the match for your pipe....VHT makes high heat header paint, krylon, etc....

you might need to mask off the rest of the can, and do the whole end cap to make it look even

VHT is very disappointing for the cost. Very poor coverage, their flat black is almost brown. I really like duplicolor engine paint for the price.

Repainting the endcap is likely the best option but I want it to match. Should I prep it in any way (sand or primer)?

VHT caliper paint worked great on my wheel hubs on my truck, black was very black...

I doubt you will be able to match the original paint, I think youd be better off painting the whole thing
