Best Roads to ride - Pics and suggestions

I recently got back from a business trip which took place in Palm Desert/Springs California and happened to pass through HWY 74, where I found a few great roads I wish I were able to ride with my bike.

I couldn't believe the posted limit was 55mph on this windy hwy which was quite elevated from the city below. The attached pic does not do the elevation or road justice but trust me when I say it's pretty awesome. I plan on going back and when I do I'll rent a bike and have fun enjoying the awesome roads.

Please post any roads you've come across that you recommend would be great for riding.

Yes but you have to ask since it's not publicized.
The people at the ice cream shop can tell you.
